NOMEA Competition

We are looking for new Piano talents to give concrete goals for develop their career with important experiences: Scholarships, Auditions, World Concerts Tour, Professional Recording, Workshops.

NOMEA organizes international competitions and festivals , in the last few years it has welcomed over 4.000 young musicians from all over the world.

The best participants of the competition will also be perform in Naples – Italy, Madrid — Spain  in the prestigious Mimas Music Festival – 10th Edition

Giuseppe Devastato

President of the Piano Jury

Recognized by international critics as one of the most exciting pianists and composers of his generation, Giuseppe Devastato is a leading exponent of the Neapolitan Piano School. He serves as Professor of Piano at the “Alfonso X el Sabio” Music University of Madrid and the Accademia Musicale Europea in Naples, as well as Guest Professor at the Talent Music Masters Academy in Brescia and the Euro Arts Academy in Germany. Awarded multiple Gold and Platinum Medals at the prestigious Global Music Awards in Los Angeles, his artistry has graced major concert halls across Europe, America, and Asia. As the Artistic Director of the International Piano Balkan Academy “S. Thalberg”, he dedicates his expertise to nurturing outstanding young talents, guiding them to success in major international competitions.

An esteemed Steinway Artist and internationally acclaimed concert pianist, Carles Lama has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, and is widely recognized for his elegant artistry. As the Co-Founder and Director of KNS Classical, he has established one of the industry’s leading record labels, serving as a bridge to success for the next generation of classical recording artists. Artistic Director of multiple renowned music festivals and concert series, he has built an exceptional international reputation as a dedicated mentor and pedagogue. His dual expertise as a world-class performer and record executive offers young musicians invaluable guidance in launching their global professional careers.

Zhao Xiaohong
Zhao Xiaohong

Piano Juror & Pedagogue

A distinguished figure in international piano pedagogy, Zhao Xiaohong has built a renowned career serving as a Professor, Master’s Supervisor, and Director of the Piano Committee of the Shanghai Musicians Association. An evaluation expert for the Ministry of Education, she currently leads key initiatives as a Distinguished Professor and Supervisor for the “Top Innovative Talent Training Program” at the Harbin Conservatory of Music, where she also serves as Festival Director of the International Piano Teaching Method Art Festival. With a life dedicated to inspiring new generations, she has authored acclaimed textbooks—including the Advanced Collection of Famous Piano Music—and published influential research on Chopin and Debussy. Her global expertise makes her a highly respected judge in prestigious national and international piano competitions.

Honored with prestigious awards such as the International Carthage Prize at the Capitoline Hill in Rome and the “Nativity in the World” Prize, he has translated his artistic journey into a global cultural mission through the founding of NOMEA. Under his leadership, the brand has become synonymous with international excellence, launching world-class platforms like the Mimas Music Festival and the Nomea Competition. Through these projects, he guides, inspires, and elevates thousands of emerging talents worldwide toward their full professional fulfillment.
