NOMEA Competition
We are looking for new Violinists talents to give concrete goals for develop their career with important experiences: Scholarships, Auditions, World Concerts Tour, Professional Recording, Workshops.
NOMEA organizes international competitions and festivals , in the last few years it has welcomed over 3.000 young musicians from all over the world.
The best participants of the competition will also be perform in the wonderful Royal Place of Portici ad they will invited to perform in the prestigious Mimas Music Festival – 9th Edition 2026

Mark Messenger
International Violinist
Mark Messenger, Anglo-Armenian violinist, holds a global reputation as a recognized authority—soloist, conductor, and educator. He has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages and with international artists (Menuhin, Vengerov). His career includes over two decades at the Royal College of Music (Head of Department) and extensive experience as a jury member for international competitions across Europe, Asia, and America, certifying his profound intercultural and artistic expertise.

Biao Xue
Violinist and Professor
Prof. Biao Xue is an internationally renowned authority. Currently Professor of Violin and Master’s Supervisor at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, he has a solid East-West education (University of Houston College of Music, USA). His authoritative international experience includes serving as Concertmaster of the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, Spain, and collaborating with major ensembles globally. An international prize winner, he is a sought-after judge for prestigious competitions (Khachaturian International, Vienna World String Festival, Japan IYVC International).

Calvin Wong
Violinist and Professor
Calvin Wong is an internationally acclaimed violinist, educator, and conductor. A Violin Professor at Centro Superior KATARINA GURSKA School of Music and a highly awarded teacher (Schoenfeld and Hong Kong International Competition Outstanding Teacher Awards), his authoritative standing is proven by his students’ international prizes. He has served as an esteemed adjudicator for numerous global events, including the Mimas Festival in Italy, Kogan, and Schoenfeld International String Competition, making him an ideal international juror.

Luciano Ruotolo
Founder & Artistic Director
Luciano is a musician with international concert experience.He was awarded the prestigious ‘Premio Internazionale Cartagine’ organized for the Mediterraneo countries and assigned to the people interested in the development of music and culture. He is currently considered among the best entrepreneurs representing the music industry for his successful organizations such as: Competitions, Festival, Academy.
