NOMEA Competition
We are looking for new Violin talents to give concrete goals in this moment of global crisis by developing their career with important experiences: Scholarships, Auditions, World Concerts Tour, Professional Recording, Workshops.
NOMEA srl organizes international competitions and festivals , in the last few years it has welcomed over 2.000 young musicians from all over the world.
The Winners gala will be held at The Bellini Theater in Naples – Italy and National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania (Tirana)

The Violinists who within the last two years have studied on a regular basis with any member of the 2021 International Jury, are ineligible to participate at Competition.

Meet Our Jury Members
Alexey Bogorad
Resident conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre
He is the resident conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, he Recorded for “Columbia records” and he performs as guest conductor at various symphony orchestras. He supervises a wide range of programmes at the Bolshoi and performs as a guest conductor with various Russian symphony orchestras including the Russian National Orchestra and the St Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra.
Emily Sun
Concert Violinist
She is a winner of international awards and is in demand for her compelling and captivating performances. Emily has performed as a soloist with orchestras from all over the world in major concert halls including the Sydney Opera House, Wigmore Hall, Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Great Hall.She currently teaches at the Royal College of Music, London. She plays a 1760 Nicolò Gagliano violin, kindly loaned to her through the Beare’s International Violin Society.
Mark Messenger
Violinist - Teacher at The Royal College of Music London
He is recognised globally as a violinist, conductor, teacher at the Royal College of Music (London). As a soloist, conductor and chamber musician, has worked internationally with – amongst others – Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Ivy Gitlis, Maxim Vengerov. In 2004 he was appointed artistic director of London String Quartet Week and was on the board of the London String Quartet Foundation.
Carles Lama
Director of KNS Classical
He is an Steinway Artist and international concert pianist, co-founder and director of the label KNS Classica, it is a music production company created in 2001. Cales Lama is the artistic director of several cycles and festivals of music, he has also won a reputation for mentoring a wide number of young talents.
Luciano Ruotolo
Founder & Artistic Director
He is an International Piano Performer, he played in USA, Europe, Asia. He was awarded the prestigious ‘Premio Internazionale Cartagine’ organized for the Mediterraneo countries and assigned to the people interested in the development of music and culture. Luciano is founder and Artistic Director of successful International Music Competitions, Festivals and Academies.

He is the Founder and Artistic Director of European and Asian Edition of the ‘Neapolitan Masters Competition’ , Mimas Festival in Procida Island – Capital of Italian Culture, International Academy ‘Accademia Musicale Europea’ based in Europe and China.
He is co-founder and CEO of NOMEA srl considered among the best Italian creative startups.
